Hiren has a distinguished 29-years career in leading the full life cycle software development, and has been practicing Agile for over 18 years.

He is author of the book Scrum Insights for Practitioners, The Scrum Guide Companionthat helps the practitioners master the Scrum framework by gaining in-depth practical insights and addresses myths, mysteries, and misconceptions of Scrum. This book is recommended by Scrum.org to all aspiring Scrum enthusiast.

Hiren has trained over three thousand students and more than thirty organizations in the use of Scrum. He is certified to offer all Scrum.org workshops and SAFe workshops.

He has served as an Agile transformation change agent and leader for many organizations, including Sabre Travels (GDS), Bank of America (BFSI), BookMyShow (eTicketing), Dream11, Tesco (retail), DELL EMC (Data storage), Morpho, Oracle, Continuum Managed Solutions, LULU, Germin8, and Aveksa.

Hiren received his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Pune and his master’s degree in computer science from the University of Massachusetts. He is an organizer of the Meetup group “Scrum Chapter – Mumbai” that meets every month in Powai, Mumbai.

Hiren lives in Mumbai (India) with his wife, Swati, and two daughters, Aditi and Ashwini.


Punit Doshi, is Scrum.org PST and ICAgile Certified Agile Coach and Consultant. 

Punit has 23 years of IT experience with over 10 years of Agile Transformation experience. He has played the role of Scrum Master and Agile coach at a large US bank and has passion for Enterprise Level Agile Transformation.

He has worked in different industries (Finance, Insurance, Healthcare, Publishing and IT Research) at different levels from being a hands-on Software Developer to being a Change Agent. He specializes in helping the BSFI & Insurance sector with Agile adoption. Punit strongly believes in the Scrum.org’s mission to improve the profession of Software Delivery. 

He is currently leading Agile Transformation for a fortune 500 Investment Bank. As an Agile Trainer and Coach he specializes in building Agile Center of Practice (CoP), Strategy & Visioning , Evidence-Based estimation and predictability, facilitating big room Retrospectives, Facilitation & Mentoring, Building high performing Agile teams, and Continuous improvements.

Punit received his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Mumbai and his master’s degree in computer science from the Worcester Institute of Polytechnic, Massachusetts. He is an avid reader and considers himself as a perpetual student.

Punit lives in Mumbai (India) with his wife, Geraldine, and his twins, Rohan and Ria.
